Article dates now follow the research-based policy described on the Method page, replacing the shared 28 September drafting date. Each article identifies its newest covered research paper and retains the actual revision date separately. Bibliography dates for those papers now specify first online publication; these editorial dates do not claim that the pages were publicly available on those days.

All 15 reviews now cover September 2011–September 2026. The expansion adds 35 earlier papers and the 2022 WHO postnatal guideline, reclassifies previously excluded background evidence, and retains the existing article URLs. The following interpretations were corrected during that review:

  • Azithromycin for child survival: removed the claim that no trial had found selection for resistance to other antibiotic classes. Four-year MORDOR follow-up did find this.
  • ORS and zinc: distinguished household affordability from provider profit incentives; the earlier Ugandan trial supports free distribution.
  • Typhoid vaccine: replaced the former window-specific evidence gap with the 2021 Hyderabad XDR outbreak cohort and its limitations.
  • Oxygen and respiratory support: added the earlier Malawi bCPAP mortality harm and the Nigerian oxygen-system trial, qualifying the conclusions about scale-up.
  • Azithromycin in labour: narrowed the newborn conclusion to sepsis and mortality; carriage and secondary infection outcomes are distinct.
  • Newborn interventions: added ACT's steroid-rollout harm, restored adequate newborn care as the fifth condition for antenatal corticosteroids, and corrected cord-care eligibility to the 2022 WHO recommendation. Removed an inconsistent infection-death count and a summary that confused steroid use with facility readiness. The 2006 Nepal studies are explicitly historical background.
